In 2001, Senior Pastor John Lee started two cell groups in Hougang and Sengkang after Bethesda Frankel Estate Church’s council expressed the desire to start a church in the new housing estates at Sengkang and Punggol. On 29th July 2002,  the first worship service was held in the home of Senior Pastor John & Kathleen Lee with about 35 adults and children. To meet the growing needs of the ministry,  a terrace house was rented along Punggol Road in October 2002. With prayer support and financial assistance from BFEC, River of Life Community Church (ROLC) was officially registered on 19th November 2002.

By June 2004, ROLC had moved to a rented house at Ponggol Twenty-Fourth Avenue. Our attendance rose to a total of 100 adults and children. Following this, ROLC’s leaders and members took a step of faith and purchased a house at 19 Punggol Twenty-Fourth Avenue to be our Mission Home.  The full amount of S$1.8 million was raised within 3 months. Truly, ROLC Church Mission Home is an awesome testimony of God’s faithfulness.

On 1st May 2006, River of Life Community Church Mission Home was dedicated to the Lord. To God be the glory!
